Every year, Cable 8 Productions teams up with Boost Collaborative from Washington State University to provide assistance to a local beneficiary in the Pullman community. As a part of the Cougar Vision Outreach program, Cable 8 Productions holds an annual telethon to raise money as well as smaller events throughout the year.
